Vespers will begin in the St. Francis Eucharistic Adoration chapel every Thursday evening starting September 8 at 6 p.m.
Please come and join this beautiful prayer of the church led by Deacon Roger Novak. It is an important prayer outside the Mass.
Effective Monday, July 11, 2022, there will be a new security passcode for the evening hours of 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. in the St. Francis Adoration Chapel.
As part of our ongoing review of campus security measures, the passcode will be changed periodically to safeguard the chapel and its precious contents: the adorers who spend time there with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Eucharistic Adoration, the act of worshiping God as He is present in the consecrated Eucharist, stems from the Catholic belief in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Christ promised He would never leave us, and He has not! He is present with us through the Mass and through the Eucharist. Ways to adore our Lord:
Under the direction of Fr. Michael Groth, parishioner Jim Nocera produced a powerful video on the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist in 2022 to mark the launch of the National Eucharistic Revival. Touching testimonies from a wide variety of parishioners—including a second-grade religious education student and longtime permanent adorer—along with educators from Saints Peter and Paul School, serve as powerful witnesses to the peace and joy that Eucharistic adoration offers.
