1 Kings: The Dissolution of the Kingdom
Starting January 6/7, the Bible Study will focus on the first book of Kings. This book begins with the death of King David and the trials that he faced even as he lay on his deathbed. 1 Kings highlights the rise of King Solomon and his gift of wisdom, but also his unfaithfulness to the Lord. 1 Kings will show how the Davidic Kingdom collapsed and broke into two factions because of disobedience to the Law and pride. However, despite the fracturing of the kingdom, 1 Kings highlights the great prophets that God raised up, like Elijah, to bring his people back to him. This study is offered on Monday evenings from 7-9pm and Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. 

Please bring a Bible and a pen. Notes will be provided each week for all Bible Study participants. There is no fee nor pre-registration for this Study.
