Today at 2 p.m. thirteen people from Saints Peter and Paul in Naperville came to pray the Rosary at the entrance to Planned Parenthood. This group prays every Monday without fail no matter what the weather is: rain, sleet, snow, sun, heat, cold. Today a lady from St Patrick’s joined this group to pray the Rosary and she held a blue 40 Days for Life sign which read “Ask me about a free Ultrasound.” This lady noticed that a couple paid close attention to her sign as they were pulling into Planned Parenthood’s parking lot. She went down to the entrance and asked if she could talk with the young lady as she got out of the car. The young lady came right over to talk. The people on the hill continued to pray as this conversation took place. The lady holding the sign asked the young lady why she was at Planned Parenthood, and she responded that she was there for an ultrasound – she thought she was pregnant and she was scared. The lady holding the sign responded, “Don’t go to Planned Parenthood, go to Waterleaf where you will get a free ultrasound but more importantly – the hope and help you will need.” The lady holding the sign told the young lady “I was pregnant at 18 and I kept my baby, it was the best thing I ever did.” She said make this the best day of your life not a day you will regret for the rest of your life. The two embraced and the lady holding the sign said I will meet you at the front door if you come on over. The couple got back into their car and drove over to Waterleaf. PRAISE THE LORD!!
