On December 19, our Facilities Manager, Lou Pozek, provided me with his resignation following 5½ years of service at Saints Peter and Paul. Lou is departing to be a Building Maintenance Manager for the Archdiocese of Chicago. I am grateful for Lou’s dedicated and faithful service to our parish and grade school community and wish him much happiness and satisfaction in his new employment with the Archdiocese. Lou’s final day with Saints Peter and Paul was Friday, January 6. 

I am pleased to announce that I have hired Scott Sippel to be the new Facilities Manager for Saints Peter and Paul. Scott’s most recent employment was as a Laborer Foreman/Site Supervisor with Bulley & Andrew’s LLC. Scott is the youngest of thirteen children; he attended both Catholic grade school and high school. He possesses a bachelor’s of art in business administration from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Scott is a devout Catholic who has two adult children and one grandchild.

Scott will begin his employment at Saints Peter and Paul on Tuesday, January 17. Please hold both Lou and Scott in your prayers as they make these transitions.
