For 25 years, Saints Peter and Paul has hosted a celebration and auction to help benefit either the needs of the parish, parish school, or an identified charitable need. Our 25th-annual "Light the Way" fundraiser was held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Cress Creek Country Club. The evening is a delightful gathering consisting of cocktails, buffet dinner, and live and silent auctions.
The proceeds from this year's "Light the Way" will support the parish’s outdoor lighting project, including the illumination of its historic church. As one of the tallest structures in downtown Naperville—the heart of the city—the church steeple serves as a true beacon in the community, a sign of faith and hope for all.
In advance of the 100th anniversary of the building’s dedication in 2027, Saints Peter and Paul is embarking on a major beautification project that will visually enhance the stunning architecture of the church, while also providing additional safety and security for parishioners, students, clergy, staff, and pedestrians. Enhancements will include architectural flood and spotlight fixtures, statuary and landscape lighting across the seven-acre campus, as well as the electrical wiring infrastructure to support it.
