Our parish clothing drive is back! Saturday May 21 & Sunday May 22 The St. Vincent de Paul trucks will be in our parking lot the weekend of May 21 & May 22for our Annual Clothing Drive. Some important changes this year:
Please bag all donation items to whatever extent is possible.
Trucks will be parked in the JR HIGH LOT at the above times. Please follow signs and lanes for pulling up vehicles and donation drop off.
Please remain in your vehicle when dropping off donations. A volunteer will empty donations from your car and leave a receipt.
We will accept…….
Clothing, shoes, linens and books in good or bad condition. Unusable clothing, shoes, linens and books generate income for the needy as they are sold for rags or in bulk.
Small housewares--toasters, blenders, mixers, etc.
Electronics-- The SVdP Thrift Shops are electronic recycling centers! We can take small electronics and computers at clothing drive. SORRY NO TELEVISIONS.
We will accept used bicycles in any condition. Even broken bicycles can be repaired and donated to those who do not have other means of transportation!
No baby equipmentsuch as car seats, cribs, walkers, strollers, playpens, etc.
Your donations go to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shops where much of your donations are given away free to needy families in the community. Some are sold at reasonable prices at the thrift shops so that needy families can shop with dignity. “Proceeds” from the thrift shops go into a general assistance fund where St. Vincent de Paul Conferences at the churches help families with rent, mortgage or utility assistance. Thanks for your generous donations! Society of St. Vincent de Paul
