Light the WayLight the Way 2022 was a huge success thanks to our sponsors, auction donors, volunteers, and attendees!
This year marked the 25th anniversary of the Light the Way event, which has raised more than $1.8 million over its history. Your generosity has allowed us to address many needs within our parish and community.
Proceeds from the December 1 event will support the parish’s outdoor lighting project, including the illumination of its historic church. As one of the tallest structures in downtown Naperville—the heart of the city—the steeple serves as a true beacon in the community, a sign of faith and hope for all.
In advance of the 100th anniversary of the building’s dedication in 2027, Saints Peter and Paul is embarking on a major beautification project that will visually enhance the stunning architecture of the church, while also providing additional safety and security for parishioners, students, clergy, staff, and pedestrians. Enhancements will include architectural flood and spotlight fixtures, statuary and landscape lighting across the seven-acre campus, as well as the electrical wiring infrastructure to support it.The lighting project will be completed in Spring or Summer 2023. The parish will update parishioners as information is finalized.
