This parish pro-life fundraiser takes place from Mother’s Day (May 8) until Father’s Day (June 19). Proceeds will support the life-saving work of Waterleaf, an Aurora-based Catholic pregnancy center serving the Diocese of Joliet, which offers a pregnancy medical clinic and education center.

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church will host its annual Memorial Day Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery (911 E. North Ave.) at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30. Rev. John McGeean will preside over the Mass at the cemetery’s Mausoleum of the Holy Apostles (see map). In the event of inclement weather, the Mass will move to Saints Peter and Paul Church (36 N. Ellsworth St.).
On Pentecost Sunday, June 4, 1922, the church was completely destroyed by a fire that still remains the worst in Naperville’s history. Out of the ashes, the 350 families that comprised Saints Peter and Paul parish at that time built the magnificent church we have today.

Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435. Rev. Lennon will lie in state at the Cathedral from 2 until 8 p.m., and on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 9 until 10:45 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment following Mass at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville.
It's baaaack! Homecoming Fest 2021 was such a success that Saints Peter and Paul will continue the tradition with an annual celebration of the founding of the parish in 1846.
