Attended Nursing school at Amundsen College, also attended DePaul University Business School, Married Joseph Passarella while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force and lived away from Illinois for several years. Have 2 children, daughter Jacquelyn and son Joseph Jr.
I was an executive secretary for the Vice President of a Health and Dental insurance group, then worked as a credit manager in charge of payables and receivables for a multi-state auto parts and wheel company. I then became the CEO of a company owned by my husband and me, with offices in 4 states, servicing customers such as, Montgomery Wards, Sears, General Electric, and Pitney Bowes. When my husband became ill and could no longer work we closed the company. In 2011 I came to work for the Diocese of Joliet, serving at St. Paul the Apostle, St. Joan of Arc and now Saints Peter and Paul.
It has been a privilege for me to serve in the church not only as a member of Liturgical ministries, Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Greeter, and to also have the honor to have been the Coordinator of the Adoration Chapel at SJA for the past 12 years and in addition to assist parishioners with their needs. I am thankful to have the opportunity to continue to serve now at SSPP.
